Metal fabrication plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of exterior patio shades, combining strength and aesthetic appeal. This process involves the precise cutting, shaping, and assembling of metal components to create durable frameworks that can withstand various weather conditions while enhancing outdoor spaces. METAL FABRICATION
Each fabric panel is measured, cut, and sealed with exacting accuracy to deliver a clean fit and consistent tension across every installation. Using advanced RF (radio-frequency) welding technology, the fabric seams are fused together at a molecular level — eliminating the need for stitching and creating a seamless, weather-resistant bond. Along the side seams, a reinforced Kedar edge is welded into place, allowing the fabric to lock securely into the side tracks for a smooth, taut operation that won’t pull free under tension or wind pressure. This process not only enhances the shade’s structural integrity but also maintains a refined, tailored appearance that resists fraying, water intrusion, and UV degradation.
FABRIC CUT & WELD
Final assembly is where precision engineering and craftsmanship come together to create a finished Shady Rabbit shade. Each unit is meticulously built from hundreds of individual components, including custom-cut aluminum profiles, motor systems, fasteners, bearings, seals, and fabric elements. Our team assembles each shade by hand, verifying motor calibration, track alignment, and smooth fabric travel before it leaves the facility. This hands-on process guarantees that every shade meets our performance and durability standards, delivering a product that operates quietly, seals tightly, and looks exceptional from every angle.
